Summary

Office Administrator | Northampton | Part Time | £12.50 per hour

Our client is a long-established mechanical handling solutions provider with over 60 years’ experience in the industry, alongside a recently opened EV centre. They are now looking to strengthen their office function with a reliable and organised Office Administrator.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Previous experience in an office administration role
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment
• Positive, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator who enjoys supporting a wider team

Desirable:

• Experience working in a busy environment such as Service, Parts, or Hire departments

What will your role look like?

• Managing incoming and outgoing communications (phone, email, post)
• Handling data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records
• Ordering and managing office supplies and inventory
• Scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating activities
• Preparing documents, correspondence, and basic reports
• Ensuring the office environment is tidy, organised, and well-maintained
• Providing general administrative support to management and wider teams
