Summary

The Faculty of Business and Creative Industries at the University of South Wales is seeking to appoint a Professor within the South Wales Business School.

Based at Treforest, the successful candidate will possess a range of skills necessary to complement and enhance scholarly activity within the faculty, and to assist its growing reputation both locally and internationally. The post holder will be expected to undertake research that is world class or internationally excellent and to produce high quality outputs that are suitable for inclusion in the next REF. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate an outstanding track record of research including, a strong publication record and experience of obtaining external research funding.

The main purpose of the job is to strengthen the research profile of the Business Research and Innovation Group and enhance the Business and Management submission to the next REF. We are looking for candidates with expertise in any of the areas below:

Leadership and Management
Global Business
Sustainable Business and Consumption
Business Capabilities, including Digital Business and Data Driven Capabilities
Innovation and Enterprise
Workplace Resilience and Wellbeing
Business and Policy

This is a leadership role; the successful candidate will also be required to inspire and mentor others within the South Wales Business School as they research and work towards publications and other impactful research outputs. The successful candidate will also supervise postgraduate research students and contribute to research informed curriculum development and delivery.
