Advice and Contact – Transforming Lives

We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to help lead our Adult Care team in Wiltshire. You will support the Team Manager to ensure high-quality services for adults who need care and support, and you will take the lead when the Team Manager is absent.

In this role, you will supervise social workers, occupational therapists, and other staff, providing guidance on complex cases and ensuring assessments meet legal requirements. You will monitor performance, manage resources, and contribute to team development through supervision, appraisals, and quality assurance.

You will also work closely with health partners, GP surgeries, and community organisations to promote integrated working and improve outcomes for residents. The role includes authorising care plans, managing budgets, and helping shape policies and procedures.

This is a varied and challenging position that requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. You will need a recognised qualification in social work or occupational therapy, registration with the relevant professional body, and experience in managing staff and budgets.

If you are committed to delivering excellent care and want to make a real difference in your community, we would love to hear from you.
