As a Prosecution Team Investigator in our Protection department you will:

Conduct interviews with relevant parties, including witnesses and suspects, to capture evidence and/or intelligence.

Attend court to present evidence as the Investigating Officer and liaise with our legal team and court services.

Complete investigation tasks as allocated by the Prosecution Manager in a timely manner ensuring deadlines are met.

Review and analyse data in various formats to support investigations and retain such material appropriately.

What makes you our ideal Prosecution Team Investigator?

You will be able to meet all essential criteria as detailed on the person specification.

You will have knowledge and experience of completing investigations and presenting evidence at court.

You will have a good working knowledge of investigatory legislation including Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 and Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996.

You will have experience in working with external stakeholders and diverse teams, particularly within challenging situations and have the ability to manage conflict effectively.

You will have experience of using Microsoft products including Teams, Outlook, Word, SharePoint and Excel.
