We are a caring and supportive team, and we pride ourselves on our extensive, induction and training programme. The Joint Community Rehabilitation service (JCR) is at the heart of care in the community. Our teams assist older adults after an illness or injury get back to independence in their own home.

In this development role you will spend the first 12 months enhancing your leadership skills and learning the Team Leader role through working on ‘duty’ and being the first port of contact for Support Workers for advice including at evenings and weekends. You will take the lead on a key service area, for example medication and Equality & Diversity and first visits.

During this 12 month period you will work towards completing the Team Leader Level 3 apprenticeship, and your salary will be at Single Status 7.

After the 12-month development period you will line manage a team of Support Workers/Lead Support Workers and oversee client review visits and monitor the progression of clients.

Upon commencement of these duties your salary will increase to Single Status 8.
