Summary
Teaching Assistant - Pilgrim Academy
Fixed Term until 31 August 2026 - 32.5 hours per week
Term time + Inset days (195 days per year)
Salary: £25,550 - LGAT 5 - FTE
Actual Salary: £19,034.75
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Teaching Assistant to join our academy.
To assist students, including those with SEN, to maximise access to the curriculum,
To work under the direction of the teacher in a class based environment using teaching aides and other methods of support
To help support and promote the Academy behaviour policy
Whilst experience is not necessary, you must have a good standard of literacy, be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of a team.
