Summary

Job Title: South Gloucestershire Short Breaks Coordinator

Work Hours: Part time 18 hours per week (with some evenings and weekends)

Salary: £29,206 per annum pro rata (£14,019 actual)

Contract type: 4 months fixed term (with extension subject to funding)

Location: Hybrid

At WECIL, we’re proud to deliver the South Gloucestershire Short Breaks service in partnership with South Gloucestershire Local Authority. We provide high-quality, inclusive short breaks that enable Disabled children and young people aged 2–18 to enjoy meaningful activities in their communities.

We’re looking for a committed and compassionate part-time coordinator to work closely with the Short Breaks Manager to help plan and deliver sessions during school holidays and term time, support and coordinate sessional staff, and ensure the service runs safely and smoothly.

This role is central to building trusting relationships with children, young people and families, upholding strong safeguarding practice, and championing the Social Model of Disability.
