Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science for a temporary maternity cover role within the Science Department. Our ideal candidate will be a high-impact teacher, someone with an infectious passion for their subject, who can teach high quality lessons and deliver strong outcomes with their classes. Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced professionals.

The successful candidate will be joining a well-established and successful department. There is a real sense of teamwork and leaders throughout the department are always on hand to offer support and advice, no matter what their subject specialism. The department offers a range of CPD and networking opportunities and staff development is at the heart of what we do. You will be working in a fantastic environment with good facilities and an embedded scheme of learning, although of course we are always striving to improve and implement innovative ideas and creative teaching and learning strategies.

The successful candidate will play a full and active role in the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school, including the excellentrange of experiences beyond the classroom which wealready offer. If you embrace
