Science Teacher – Stockport
Full-time | KS3 & KS4 | January 2026

Are you a passionate and dynamic Science Teacher ready to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in the next generation?

We are working in partnership with a high-achieving, inclusive secondary school in Stockport, known for its strong community values, high expectations, and commitment to developing well-rounded young people. The school is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving department starting in January 2026.

This is a full-time role, teaching General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. The post is initially until Easter, with the potential for extension or a permanent opportunity for the right person.

The Successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) with a Science specialism (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science)


  • Deliver engaging, well-structured and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4


  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management, promoting high standards and positive relationships


  • Be fully committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing


  • Work collaboratively within a supportive department to enhance outcomes and curriculum delivery
