Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our client's dynamic team in Wembley, Greater London. As a key member of the support staff, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment and helping students develop essential social and emotional skills.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualised behaviour support plans that address each student's unique needs.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviours
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement effective classroom management strategies
- Providing one-on-one and small group interventions to help students develop self-regulation and problem-solving skills
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting support plans as needed
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student interventions and progress
- Facilitating workshops and training sessions for school staff and parents on behaviour management techniques
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field
- Proven experience working with students who exhibit challenging behaviours
- Knowledge of evidence-based behaviour management strategies and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
