Overview: Experienced Trimmers required to trim and de-bone primals using knives, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Trim and de-bone primals using knives.
• Follow customer specification standards.
• Maintain yields and quality standards.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (e.g., Dropped Meat Policy).
• Ensure knife safety training and guidelines are followed.
• Correct cleaning and storage of knives and PPE at all times.
• Full compliance with all SOPs.
• General knife duties.
Pay & Benefits:
Front Shift: G1 £13.90/hr | G2 £12.90/hr | Back Shift: G1 £14.27/hr | G2 £13.08/hr. Overtime: Paid at 1.5x base rate after 40 hours. Holiday entitlement: 5.6 weeks, accrued at 12.07%.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday (potential weekend work). Shifts: 06:00–14:30 or 15:15–23:45. 30-minute unpaid break.
Compliance Note:
All roles require completion of Right-to-Work checks and adherence to GLAA standards. PPE and health & safety training will be provided on site.
