Please note: This role does not meet the minimum criteria for visa sponsorship under the current UK immigration rules, which set specific salary and skill thresholds. As such, we are unable to provide sponsorship for this post. Applicants will therefore need to already have the right to work in the UK to be considered. We include this information at the outset to provide clarity and avoid unnecessary inconvenience for applicants. Working alongside the other medical secretaries you will provide a comprehensive secretarial role to the Consultants and doctors. This includes audio typing letters, referrals, reports etc, working to deadlines in order to support our patients. The ability to organise and prioritise work effectively is essential as is the ability to accurately and quickly type/correct clinical letters. Experience of audio typing, computer skills and medical terminology is required although previous work experience as a medical secretary is not essential for the right person. You will have an excellent telephone manner and able to prioritise competing demands, meeting deadlines throughout the week.
