Summary
Support the Medicines Efficiency Team by raising orders, checking delivery notes and processing invoices accurately and promptly. Maintain accurate patient, financial and activity records in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and governance requirements. Liaise with medicines homecare providers, clinical teams and finance colleagues to resolve queries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Assist with medicines switch programmes and other efficiency initiatives to support safe, effective and cost-efficient use of medicines. Participate in ward, dispensary and distribution activities, including stock control, ordering and dispensing under supervision. Support the training and induction of new staff, contributing to a positive, collaborative and supportive pharmacy team culture.
