The School of Health and Life Sciences is now seeking to appoint to the post of Senior Lecturer Teaching Scholarship and Professional Practice (TSPP) in Patient Experience. Outcome and Healthcare Leadership to contribute to teaching, research, knowledge exchange, enterprise in the Department of Allied Health Professions in the School of Health & Life Sciences.

The standard TSPP academic role at the University includes a combination of teaching, scholarly activity, professional practice, knowledge exchange, business engagement and associated administrative activities. While all functions will combine these areas of work, the relative weight of each will vary between and over time for each role holder.

The postholder will have experience in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient outcome and experience and must hold both a first degree and Masters in relevant discipline / equivalent professional qualification or significant practical work experience in a related discipline.

You should have experience working collaboratively across professions, supporting the development of individuals and teams and leading and managing change. You will utilise your knowledge to contribute to teaching, knowledge exchange, enterprise, and business engagement across the department.

The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.

Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post may qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
