Executive Head of Nursery

Description
We are seeking a dedicated and visionary Executive Head of Nursery to lead our early childhood education program. This role is pivotal in shaping the developmental journey of our youngest learners, ensuring that they receive a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment. As the Executive Head of Nursery, you will oversee the nursery's delivery of high-quality education and care, fostering an environment that promotes curiosity, learning, and social interaction. You will collaborate closely with parents, staff, and the wider community to create a culture of excellence and inclusivity. This role also involves developing and implementing educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children while adhering to regulatory standards. You will be responsible for leading a team of educators, providing them with the guidance and support necessary to inspire and engage our children. Your strategic vision will drive the nursery’s growth and sustainability, ensuring that it remains a leading establishment in early childhood education. Responsibilities
Develop and implement an innovative curriculum that meets the needs of all children in the nursery.
Lead, mentor and support a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of health and safety.
Engage with parents and the community to build strong partnerships and promote the nursery’s values and activities.
Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and provide feedback to parents and staff.
Manage the nursery's budget, resources, and facilities to ensure a sustainable operation.
Continuously evaluate and improve nursery practices based on current research and best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years or nursery setting.
Extensive knowledge of child development theory and best practices in early childhood education.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships with staff, parents, and the community.
Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of educators and support staff.
Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping abreast of current trends in early childhood education.
