Matthew Moss High School is seeking to appoint an Inclusive Practice Teacher to strengthen inclusive and adaptive teaching across the school. Working closely with the SENDCo and Inclusion Leadership Team, the postholder will support the development of high-quality universal provision in mainstream lessons while also teaching within the school’s bespoke inclusion settings.

The role includes modelling effective inclusive practice through mainstream teaching, alongside coaching and professional development for teachers and Teaching Assistants. The postholder will teach within targeted and bespoke provision for learners with SEND, SEMH and vulnerabilities, supporting high academic expectations, emotional readiness for learning and successful reintegration into mainstream where appropriate.

The Inclusive Practice Teacher will monitor learner progress, support the coordination of SEND provision, work in partnership with parents and external professionals, and lead exam access arrangements across the school. Ongoing professional development, including completion of the NPQ SENCO, forms an integral part of the role.
