Summary
Job Title: Senior Sustainability Consultant
Location: Cork, Ireland
Employment Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and compliance programs.
- Lead projects involving BREEAM, LEED, and WELL certifications.
- Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
- Perform Thermal Modelling (IES) assessments including TM54, TM52, TM59.
- Part L & O assessments.
- Design and promote circular economy strategies in project development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices in all phases of project delivery.
- Provide expert advice to clients on sustainability best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of sustainability expertise within the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive experience in sustainability strategy and compliance.
- Proficiency in BREEAM, LEED, WELL certifications.
- Strong knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and EPDs.
- Expertise in building performance analysis, including daylight and overheating analysis.
- Experience in developing circular economy strategies.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
