Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sustainable building design and a strong proficiency in the following areas:
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the face of the Sustainability team in the North performing a largely client-facing role within the business.
- Conduct detailed sustainability assessments and provide recommendations for projects.
- Utilize IES-VE software for energy modeling and building performance analysis.
- Perform TM54 and TM59 assessments to evaluate energy performance and overheating risk.
- Ensure compliance with Part L and Part O building regulations.
- Implement Passivhaus standards for energy efficiency in building design.
- Analyze Whole Life Carbon impacts and contribute to strategies for reduction.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver sustainability solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in sustainability consulting within the built environment.
- Experience in client-facing role, confidence to bring an existing client base and interact with the businesses existing/new clients.
- Proficiency in IES-VE software and familiarity with TM54, TM59, Part L, Part O, Passivhaus principles, and Whole Life Carbon analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
