Summary
a) A full set of tools will be supplied and maintained by the tradesperson. Power tools and access equipment will be provided for which the post holder will be responsible for the maintenance and security. b) Will be required to fully participate in the effective running of a Labour Management system (where applicable). c) Maintain cleanliness and safety of his/her work area and workshop/storage areas. d) Attend training sessions, seminars and courses for the purpose of self-development as directed by the Estates Manager or Estates Officers. Attend manufacturers training courses for engineering plant and equipment as required. e) The post holder must wear the personal protection equipment provided and follow safety precautions. He/she should familiarise himself/herself with the Estates Department Tradesperson Safety Manual and ensure that safe working practices are adhered to in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. f) The post holder must possess a full and clean UK driving licence and be prepared to use own car to travel between SCFT properties to undertake duties. Reimbursement is made for all authorised travel. g) Be prepared to participate in an on-call rota for which he/she will receive additional remuneration.
