About the role
Source Supply is seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs in a small, friendly mainstream primary school in the Chesterfield area. This is a part-time role, working five mornings a week in a reception class. The position includes some toileting support.
We are looking for someone with a calm, nurturing, and supportive approach. Experience working with children with additional needs is advantageous, but the school’s priority is finding the right person to best support the child.
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
- Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
