An exciting opportunity for a Dealership Management Accountant within the Newport area has arisen for our Motor Trade Client.
Working within a multi-award-winning Car Dealership group, the successful Management Accountant will be well versed in providing an exceptional accounting service.
Benefits:
- Starting salary of £32,000 per annum.
- Access to a very achievable bonus of £5,000 per annum, which has been achieved consistently for circa 10 years.
- 22 days annual holiday allowance plus the 8 bank holidays, rising to 25 days with service.

- CBS scheme available after 6 months.
- External accounts qualifications training provided.

- Fantastic long-term prospects with a larger multi-site dealer group operating since 1986.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:00pm with 30 minute for a lunch break.
Requirements:
- Prior/current experience within a Dealership/fast-paced Accountancy position.
- Highly organised, and strong team player.
- IT literate – preferably a strong understanding with management system software
Duties:
- Production of management accounts for dealership sites.
- Full monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet.
- Support non-financial managers in the business.
- Support the central accounts team.
- To assist in the maintenance of the Kerridge system and to ensure full compliance with our client's accounting standards.
- To assist in the preparation of files and returns for both internal and external auditors as required.
Our Client is seeking an Dealership Accountant who has a proven track record within an Accounts Department and ideally hold both Motor Trade and ideally Dealership experience.
