Curriculum Development Manager – English and Maths

Salary: £41,858 to £44,405 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week


Location: Castleford College

We are looking for a Curriculum Development Manager to join our passionate English and Maths team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference by providing effective leadership alongside teaching and learning to help learners and teachers succeed.

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed.

You will:


Assist in overseeing the management and development of curriculum
Line manage and lead the English and Maths team
Support the implementation of local and college strategies to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment
Be a key driver in monitor the curriculum area’s performance and implementing the Quality Improvement Plan
Support teachers and staff to comply with the Group’s quality processes


You will have:


GCSE in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification
Successful experience of teaching within the English and Maths Curriculum
Management experience in FE is desirable but not essential
