Summary

Job Description

Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city.

Working 37 hours per week, within the employee support team, you will provide advise and support to managers and employees on employment and payroll matters.

Requirements

You will hold 3 National 4 passes or equivalent to include Maths and English.

Responsibilities

To assist in all tasks associated with the delivery of staffing, training & staff development and payroll services within Leisure & Culture Dundee (The Organisation).

The Individual

You will have prior experience of working in a busy office with a working knowledge of using excel including formulas. You will also have experience in a staffing/payroll role.

You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

You will be adept at problem solving including, have the ability to identify issues and resolve in a timely manner.

You will be able to interpret information, plan and prioritise work, have the ability to work to deadlines, and have good attention to detail with good IT skills.

You will also have strong interpersonal skills, have the ability to deal with interruptions, be approachable and have the ability to stay calm in difficult situations. The ability to work as part of a team and also independently is also required.
