Job Introduction

We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled TFM Relationship & Performance Manager to join our team. This role will work in partnership with a high-profile Government organisation as part of the transformation of their property function, including the establishment and management of their national Total Facilities Management (TFM) supply chain.

Purpose of the Role:

  • Establish strong, trusted relationships with all TFM providers, ensuring confidence in the Client’s approach and developing processes that provide effective assurance.
  • Lead the mobilisation of new contracts, ensuring systems, processes, and people are aligned with contractual requirements and operational outcomes.
  • Once mobilised, oversee, monitor, and manage the performance of the Client’s FM suppliers to ensure full contract compliance. Drive shared goals such as maintaining operational properties, ensuring asset maintenance, meeting statutory obligations, and assuring supply chain adherence.
  • Collaborate effectively with supply chain partners to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Address and escalate supply chain performance issues as required, in line with SLAs.
  • Act as a key liaison for the client organisation, partnering with stakeholders to deliver best-in-class property management, risk management advice, and strategic supply chain insight.
  • Ensure that all client security protocols, policies, and procedures are fully implemented, audited, and managed across the supply chain.
  • Support the Contract Director with mobilisation activities and the transition into the Client’s new property function, including onboarding and management of the supply chain.
  • Work with HR to recruit, develop, and support a high-performing, professionally qualified team.
  • Operate within an integrator model, providing assurance, guidance, and coordinated property services across the estate. Services include supplier management, technology solutions, budget management, Helpdesk/CAFM, asset management, performance management, and additional services for a complex estate.
  • Navigate and support operations within a high-security environment with specific processes and ICT architecture.
  • Support the Client in their transformational journey in establishing a new property management function.
  • Maintain and enhance the professional capability and qualifications of the performance team.

Context & Main Activities:

  • Implement new ways of working that support the development and delivery of Supply Chain Management services for the Client’s TFM supply chain.
  • Manage and report on supply chain performance, providing professional recommendations to ensure the Client’s requirements are met.
  • Oversee service delivery related to supply chain management—both direct and indirect reports—ensuring seamless interaction for the Client.
  • Lead mobilisation efforts and support the transition to a new operating model, contributing to solution development and stakeholder communication.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, Client teams, and subject matter experts within the Integrator team.
  • Recruit and develop the performance team while fostering strong relationships with Client representatives.
  • Play a key role within the contract leadership team, contributing to the successful delivery and management of the contract.
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with established standards and Group policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational supply chain for a designated group of TFM suppliers.
  • Mobilise systems, processes, services, and recruitment to establish the contract’s new function.
  • Monitor supplier performance, using data and trends to assess SLA and KPI achievement.
  • Build trusted relationships across all stakeholders.
  • Lead supplier performance governance forums, including meeting facilitation, preparation of materials, minute-taking, and output management.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify actions and improvement plans for underperformance, contributing to the Contract Development Plan.
  • Oversee delivery from broader Sodexo services and internal teams to ensure coordinated, seamless service delivery and a “one Sodexo team” approach.
  • Work collaboratively with the contract leadership team to assure full delivery of contractual commitments.
  • Support and contribute to Client contract changes for Sodexo and the supply chain.
  • Develop expertise in Supply Chain Management and performance management.
  • Ensure consistent service performance within SLAs and contractual terms.
  • Support the Contract Director in proactive, professional Client management aligned to Clients for Life principles.
  • Ensure adherence to company governance processes and standards.
  • Challenge existing working practices, offering innovative ideas, alternatives, and improvements.
  • Participate actively in communities of practice, sharing learning and best practice.

Accountabilities

  • Maintain a strong, effective partnership with the Client and their supply chain.
  • Ensure governance and control measures are in place to support optimal supplier performance.
  • Successfully establish and implement Supply Chain Management functions within the Client’s new operating model, ensuring systems and processes are fit for purpose.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop an engaged, capable team delivering high-quality services.

What You Will Bring:
