Summary
Accept referrals from other clinicians and be responsible for the care of those patients as per agreed protocols. Provide a full range of CT examinations performed within the departments, ensuring high standards of clinical practice are maintained and to be responsible for the quality of own work . Undertake out of hours duties as necessary. Able to deal with high pressure demands from service users, ensuring patient care is not compromised. Work as part of a team on all CT scanners within the Trust, but also autonomously, prioritising and managing own workload. Supervise and train students, junior radiographers and also radiographic assistants. Registered with the The Health and Care Professions Council. Works within the Professional Code of Conduct and Standards of Proficiency. Works within the policies, procedures and guidelines set by the Trust.
