Do you hold strong leadership skills and can confidently solve complex issues? Join our team as a Duty Manager and be a crucial part of delivering positive experiences through active lifestyles.

We are dedicated to providing services, projects, and activities that create positive experiences for a diverse range of people. Our approach is centred around sport, physical activity, and active lifestyles.

As a Duty Manager, you'll be at the heart of our centre’s day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment during operating hours.

We are looking for someone who brings innovation, energy, and strong leadership skills to the table, especially when it comes to solving complex customer and facility issues.

Don't have the UK's National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) yet? No worries! We'll support you in obtaining it within three months through a course run by the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS).

If you're ready to make a positive impact on our community and thrive in a dynamic role, join our team today!

As a casual worker, you'll have no fixed hours and will work on an as-needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You are not obligated to be available, and the Council is not obliged to offer you work.

Why us?

Please download and read the role description and person specification carefully before you apply as well as Our Identity.

The council is committed to creating an environment of positive working relationships where everyone feels engaged, supported and able to thrive. Our Identity is a framework which sets out how we are all expected to lead, work and act to deliver our services.

We will not tolerate discrimination, bullying or harassment of any kind. Everyone is expected to promote a culture of inclusion, dignity, trust and respect which is underpinned by our vision and Our Identity framework.
