We’re looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our Finance team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our financial operations. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, as FP&A Manager, you will lead the financial planning cycle across the business, including budgeting, forecasting and long-term strategic financial modelling.You will be responsible for providing essential and insightful analysis that supports senior leadership decision-making across the Brewers Group that identifies opportunities and mitigates risks that drive our financial success.Managing a small team, you will foster a proactive, high-performing culture through coaching and continuous development that drives positive change. As part of a wider collaborative team, you will work closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the business.Key responsibilities of the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager include:Leading our annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning processes.Consolidating Group Trading P&L across branches, e-commerce, and subsidiaries.Preparing long-term financial models, scenario planning and investment appraisals.Supporting acquisition evaluations and due diligence.Delivering accurate month-end reporting and Board presentations.Identifying cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.Developing FP&A capability within the Finance team.What are we looking for?You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a passion for strategic financial planning and analysisA strong background and experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis Management role with a focus on developing long term financial modellingStrong experience and background in investment appraisalExperience working in a multi-site retail or trade merchant business (omni channel)Excellent analytical skills and advanced MS Excel proficiencyCommercial awareness with the ability to influence key stakeholders in decision makingProven leadership skills that promote collaborative working with demonstrable experience of managing and developing teamsWhat do we give in return?We think we have an amazing culture of looking out for each other and helping one another succeed and has stood us well for over 120 years!
