Summary

Landmarc Support Services is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our multi-disciplined team at Garelochhead Training Camp. In this key role, you will oversee the management and maintenance of facilities and ranges, ensuring they remain safe, operational, and fit for purpose.

You will be responsible for guiding a team of operatives, making sure that the estate is well maintained, compliant, and able to support a wide range of activities. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage resources, coordinate maintenance tasks, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Salary: £37,688.96

Contract: Fulltime, Permanent, Mon - Fri (37 hours per week)

Location: Garelochhead Training Camp, Argyll, Scotland, G84 0EH

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring performance, attendance, behaviour, and welfare standards are met
  • Oversee work orders and PPM, ensuring timely completion of maintenance and range management tasks
  • Allocate tasks and monitor work quality against required standards
  • Manage resources and equipment, including plant and vehicles
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and confirm training areas are fit for purpose
  • Maintain accurate records for training area usage, range safety, HR, and health & safety compliance
  • Coordinate with contractors and external service providers
  • Promote best practices in environmental compliance and continuous improvement initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong foundation in Facilities Management and Rural Maintenance
  • Knowledge of workload scheduling and work order processes
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations including CoSHH, manual handling, risk assessments, and IOSH Managing Safely
  • UK Driving Licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
