We are recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Overnight Rapid Response Team in Calderdale and surrounding areas. Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC Band 2 £24,465 pro rata per annum + enhancements Hours/Contract: Part Time (36 hours per week) -7pm 8am (includes 1 hour break) Contract Type: Permanent Based: Deans Clough Closing date: 2nd January 2026 Interview date: TBC An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our overnight Rapid Response Team in Calderdale and surrounding areas. You will work alongside a District Nurse to deliver care and support to people with terminal illnesses whilst also offering vital emotional support for their families. The Marie Curie Rapid Response Service delivers rapid and flexible out of hours nursing care and support for terminally ill patients and their carers. We are a community based palliative care service whose aim is to respond quickly to support palliative patients and their carers within the community, usually in the patients own home. We aim to prevent inappropriate admission to hospital and the choice for the patient of preferred place of care.
