Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication administration, and mobility support
Implement tailored care plans based on individual needs and preferences
Support behavioural management strategies, including applied behaviour analysis techniques where applicable
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and development
Monitor and document progress, behaviour, and any changes in health or wellbeing
Foster a safe and positive environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and education teams to ensure holistic support
Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote confidence and independence
Qualifications
Experience working with adults with disabilities is highly desirable
Prior experience working with individuals with autism or special educational needs is preferred
Understanding of medication administration procedures and patient care practices
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to different needs and situations within a caring environment
Relevant qualifications in special education, healthcare, or related fields are beneficial but not essential
