Summary

Relief Support Worker - TF9 (Market Drayton Area)

Location: TF9 (Just 2 minutes from Beacon Community Centre)
Pay: £12.21per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift (Relief works also receive an additional 12.07% in their hourly rate factoring in annual leave so this ammounts to £13.68 per hour)
Contract: Relief / Bank (Flexible Hours)
Driver Requirement: Automatic Friendly

About the Role

As a Relief Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals live fulfilling lives. You'll work across different environments, supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and other needs. No two days are the same - you might be assisting with daily routines, encouraging independence, or supporting community activities.

Your responsibilities may include:

Providing personal care and promoting dignity
Supporting with meal preparation and medication
Encouraging social engagement and meaningful routines
Assisting with mobility and wheelchair use when needed
Helping individuals develop skills and confidence

What We're Looking For

A positive, patient, and empathetic approach
Willingness to learn and adapt to different support settings
Ability to work as part of a team and follow person-centred plans
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins

Shift Patterns:
Day shifts typically run between 7:00am - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 10:00pm, with sleep-ins as required

- Detail-oriented, especially around routines and consistency

- Team players, who communicate well and work collaboratively

- Flexible and proactive, ready to adapt to different needs

- Confident drivers with an automatic licence

Experience in care is helpful but not essential—what matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.
