About the role
We're currently seeking a proactive and technically confident Administrator to support our client's systems team in Coventry. This short-term but impactful role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our T&A system while we implement improvements and transition to a new way of working.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you'll act as a key support function to their Contract Managers and operational teams. Full training on the system will be provided, and once up to speed, hybrid working (60/40 split) may be available.
Key Responsibilities
- Administering the Time & Attendance (T&A) system, including password resets and setting up new users.
- Managing and resolving queries relating to joiners, movers, and leavers.
- Investigating system discrepancies and supporting colleagues to resolve issues efficiently.
- Manually overriding submitted hours and rescheduling work when required.
- Acting as the first point of contact for Contract Managers using the system daily, triaging issues and escalating where appropriate.
- Supporting operational teams with clear communication and professional handling of requests.
- Assisting with general administrative duties to ensure accurate, up-to-date system information.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or system-support role.
- Strong IT literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly (full training provided).
- Confident communicating with suppliers, colleagues, customers, and operational teams.
- Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail.
- A self-starter with the ability to use initiative, logically investigate issues, and solve problems.
- Ability to work on-site in Coventry full-time initially while training, with hybrid working available once competent.
