Summary
About The Role:
As a Director of Public Health, you’ll work closely alongside the Executive Director (operations), the Director of Children’s Services and the Director of Adults’ Services to focus on early and positive outcomes for health and wellbeing across Bath and North East Somerset.
You will also be a statutory chief officer, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Executive, and elected members.
As a leader, you will play a key role in working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to:
• Drive improvements in the health and wellbeing of local residents
• Reduce inequalities in health outcomes
• Work in collaboration with UKHSA to protect local communities from threats to their health
• Be an influential leader changing local health systems
