What you'll do
Provide strategic and operational clinical leadership as Medical Director.
Oversee medical workforce planning, appraisals, revalidation and practising privileges.
Lead clinical governance, investigations, incident/complaint reviews and crisis management.
Ensure safe, effective medical cover (including out-of-hours arrangements).
Maintain your own clinical caseload within a private addictions service.
Represent the service with commissioners, partners and stakeholders.
What you'll bring
MRCPsych (or equivalent), CCT (or equivalent), Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status.
Listed on the GMC specialist register in Psychiatry.
Minimum three years at Consultant level with evidence of MDT leadership.
Experience in Addictions and General Adult Psychiatry; values-based, evidence-led practice.
Leadership/management training or willingness to undertake it.
