APPRENTICE LEVEL 3 ICT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Full time, working all year round
Salary £26,476 per annum
Required as soon as possible

As our new Apprentice IT Support Technician, you will be supported by experienced colleagues who will train you to provide technical assistance to our staff and pupils, maintain our equipment and support our infrastructure. Alongside this, we will support you as you study with Solveway Apprenticeships to gain your Level 3 IT qualification.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suitable for someone who is proactive and reliable with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for a career in IT.

We can offer:
• A positive working environment within an extremely well-resourced school where excellent relationships between staff and students are the norm, expectations are high and students perform very well as a consequence.
• A highly competitive salary structure based on, but substantially above, national scales.
• The opportunity to develop professionally; improve and extend your knowledge; develop skills and experience; share outstanding and innovative practice; and contribute to the development of a challenging and supportive learning environment.
• A strong supportive leadership team that prioritises student and staff health and well-being.
• Other benefits include membership of the Support Staff Pension Scheme, free lunches during term time, season ticket loan, Employee Assistant Programme, free use of the swimming pool and fitness suite, Cycle to Work and Eye Care Schemes.

How to make an application:

Following this, if deemed suitable for the role, you will then be asked to complete the My New Term Application form online. The Supporting Statement section of the form should be used to detail your suitability for the role, how your knowledge, experience and training meet the person specification and your motivation for applying to NLCS. The closing date is Tuesday 13th January 2026 at 7.00am. The interviews will be held at the School on Tuesday 20th January 2026. NLCS reserves the right to make an appointment at any stage of the process.

NLCS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all members of all staff to share this commitment.
