Hours: 21 hrs per week, working flexibly if required

We are looking for a motivated Scams Awareness Officer to join our team and help protect vulnerable residents across Lancashire from fraud and scams.
About the Role
As a Scams Awareness Officer, you will be on the frontline of prevention—supporting individuals, raising awareness, and helping people feel safer and more informed. Your day-to-day work will include:
• Visiting clients in their homes and speaking with them by phone to identify vulnerabilities and provide tailored, practical advice.
• Taking a holistic approach to support, identifying other services that could help and making referrals where appropriate.
• Delivering engaging awareness sessions to community groups, partners, and events across the county.
• Managing stock of key resources such as information guides, marketing materials, and call-blocking devices.
• Attending networking events and actively promoting the service.
• Handling your own caseload and planning your diary with travel efficiency in mind.
• Completing follow-up work, including satisfaction surveys and case studies.
• Keeping accurate, GDPR-compliant client records on our CRM system.
About You - We would love to hear from you if you:
• Are confident speaking with individuals and groups.
• Can plan your own workload and work independently.
• Have strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
• Are able to build trust and rapport with people from all backgrounds.
• Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car (essential).
• Are passionate about safeguarding and supporting vulnerable people.
