This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to gain administration experience in a professional environment. We welcome applicants with limited experience, provided you can demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude, the ability to learn quickly, and a willingness to hit the ground running.

The role is 35 hours per week and offers a mix of office-based and home working, agreed with the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing administrative support to front-line staff

Data entry

Maintaining accurate records using our organisational database

Answering calls and responding to queries

Minute-taking

Processing invoices

Liaising with clients, family members, contractors, health and social care professionals, and partner organisations

Using Microsoft Office 365

Issuing letters and surveys via digital post systems

Issuing work orders to contractors and in-house adaptations operatives

What we’re looking for:

A hardworking, customer-focused team player with excellent communication skills who can work flexibly, use their own initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You must be highly computer-literate, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and be confident in learning new systems quickly.

This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives. You’ll join a small, supportive team, with a line manager who is available to guide and support you. We will listen to you, give you clarity and direction, and ensure you feel included and valued.

If you feel you have the right skills and aptitude, we would love to hear from you.

Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check.
