Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)
Reporting to: The Employer
Location: Worcester WR1
Hours of work: 6 hours per week
Rate of pay: £12.50 per hour
Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is 29-year-old female living in the WR1 area of Worcester who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide 6 hours support per week with aspects of daily living.
Main duties:
Social duties:
- keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
- attend adult education classes
- attend medical appointments if required
- do hobbies such as arts & crafts, sports, reading & listening to music.
- Support with sending emails, making phone calls & other general administration tasks
Domestic duties: support with grocery shopping, cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen, laundry.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.
Type of person that you/they are looking for:
- Values someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality and diversity.
- Specific requirements: Demonstrable knowledge of autism & eating disorders through lived experience, work experience, or personal/professional study. Comfortable challenge or de-escalating harmful behaviors. Non-smoker. No animal products in my home or around me. Outgoing. Enjoy cooking, cleaning and organizing. Punctual, calm, patient, motivational & encouraging.

- Demonstrable knowledge of autism & eating disorders
- Comfortable challenge or de-escalating harmful behaviors
- Non-smoker
- No animal products in my home or around me

Preferred:
- Driving licence
- Computer literate
- Good communicator
- Vegan or vegetarian
- Likes arts & crafts, music, reading, nature, sports & being active

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
