Castle Hill High School is a special school for students, aged 11 18, with significant and complex needs. We currently have 340 students on roll. Our most recent Ofsted inspection, judged the school to be Outstanding. All students enjoy equality of opportunity, regardless of gender, race, ability, social background etc. Our aim is to provide an education which is relevant and worthwhile, preparing our students for the world of work and ensuring that they leave us as caring young adults who have developed positive attitudes and values and are respectful of others.
All students at Castle Hill have Education Health and Care Plans. Students’ specific needs include: communication and social interaction difficulties, cognition and learning difficulties and autistic spectrum conditions.

We are seeking to appoint a talented and conscientious class teacher to work primarily teaching Science for both KS3 and KS4 pupils, however, there may be the requirement cover other subjects this would be discussed at interview.
