We are excited to share an excellent opportunity for an experienced Procurement Officer to become part of the Procurement Team within Legal Services at the Isle of Wight Council. This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible working arrangements. The Council’s Corporate Procurement Team plays a vital role in delivering expert support across a broad spectrum of procurement activities. We are looking for a professional with proven experience who can offer strategic advice and guidance to Council Officers.
This position will be integral in ensuring the Council’s procurement and contract activities remain fully compliant with current legislation and covering the full end to end procurement process. As part of a friendly and dynamic team of eight, the successful candidate will contribute to maximising savings and enhancing outcomes when spending public money in commissioning services, goods, and works, covering all requirements within the Adult Social Care and Housing directorate.

Strong collaboration skills, working seamlessly with the Project Team to ensure timely delivery of procurement projects.
Commitment to achieving Value for Money in all procurement activities.
