Summary
Job Title: Van Driver
Location: Gateshead
Position: Temp-Perm
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a dynamic team at our Distribution Centre. The ideal candidate will have experience driving a 3.5 ton van and possess excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 3.5 ton van for deliveries and collections
- Deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Restocking vending machines
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with no more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes
- Proven experience driving a 3.5 ton van
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing tasks
