Van Yard Operative / Parcel Sorter

Location: Washington, NE37 1PR

Shift: Monday to Friday, 15:00 – 21:00

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

The Role

This is a hands-on, active role working within a busy depot environment. You will play a key part in ensuring vehicles and parcels are managed efficiently to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Moving, emptying, and parking vans safely within the yard

  
  

• Sorting parcels accurately and efficiently

  
  

• Supporting the team to ensure smooth depot operations

  
  

• Working both independently and collaboratively

  
  Requirements

  • Must be able to drive (essential)

    
    

  • Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role

    
    

  • Reliable and punctual

    
    

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team

    
    

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
