Summary

Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. You will play a key role in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met and helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and play opportunities.
• Observe, assess, and track children’s development using nursery systems.
• Build warm, supportive relationships with children and their families.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment at all times.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed and concerns are promptly reported.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Support children’s personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene routines.
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and development.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the nursery throughout the course of the day.
Person Specification:
Essential:
• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
• Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
• Passionate about providing the best outcomes for children.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
Desirable:
• Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Experience working with babies or toddlers.
• Knowledge of SEND and inclusive practice.
• Food hygiene
