Summary
We are seeking a qualified *Level 3* or above Nursery Practitioner.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and curiosity.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, identifying areas for improvement and
implementing strategies to support their development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and health to ensure
individualised care and attention.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience that align with our philosophy and standards.
- Demonstrate group skills by working with and supporting staff in daily activities and routines.
Experience
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
- The candidate must hold an early years Level 3 qualification or above, in Childcare or the Early Years. Please do not apply for this position unless you have this qualification. If you are looking for an apprenticeship then this can be discussed, however we unfortunately cannot offer sponsorship.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices., current EYFS changes and due respect for safeguarding is a must.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and
colleagues.
- Ability to support classroom dynamics while providing individualized attention to each child.
- Passion for nurturing young minds and creating a positive learning environment.
- Drive to continuously improve teaching methods and adapt to the evolving needs of children.
