Facilities Maintenance Coordinator | London N20 and N12| Full Time | £25,000-£30,000, depending on experience, qualifications and tasks the employee wishes to take on
Our client is a family-run business and was established in 1975. They are well known in the area for their swimming lessons and, over the years, have added to what we offer to the local area. The company has two sites, which are within 10 minutes of each other. The team prides itself on never having to close the pools unless absolutely necessary or told to do so for unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions.
In this role, you will play a vital role in the facility’s well-being. You will make sure all equipment is working fully and safely, and make sure that the team and customers have an enjoyable experience every time they come to one of our facilities.
Please note that this role will cover both sites.

Are you the right person for the job?
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification is desirable but not essential
• Good customer service
• Be able to work alone and in a team
• Full UK driving licence (car between sites can be provided)
• Swimming background desirable but not essential
What will your role as a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator look like?
• Health and safety checklists: making sure all machines and equipment have been checked via a checklist to ensure nothing has been missed. This also makes sure that the company prevents machines from stopping or malfunctioning
• To work alongside the PSOP and PTOP, and make sure that what has been written or is in practice is being carried out by all team members
• To support, work with and share knowledge with the management team in the operations of the facilities, including health and safety requirements
• To make sure each facility is ready to open each day, either by being present or when not there, that everything is in place to be ready for others
• To rectify any issues in a good time frame
• Manage repairs
• Ordering of cleaning products, chemicals, merchandise and food and drink products
• Working out of hours if needed
• Pool plant maintenance checks and operation
• Chemical supervision and checks
