Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support Year 5 pupils in making strong progress across the curriculum
• Create a child-centred environment that enables effective teaching, learning and care
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s learning journey
• Foster a calm, safe and orderly learning environment, helping children develop independence and responsibility for their own behaviour
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to a proactive and supportive team atmosphere
• Bring an aspirational, reflective and empathetic approach to your teaching practice
• Embrace inclusive practices, supporting children from diverse backgrounds, including those for whom English is an additional language
