Summary
Stoke Bishop Church of England Primary School is a thriving school in North-West Bristol. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic SMSA to join our lunchtime team to ensure that all
children have a pleasant lunchtime experience. We are looking for someone to work as part of our friendly SMSA team to supervise, guide and assist children during the midday break, so as to ensure the safety, general welfare and proper conduct of pupils during this period.The jobholder will:
Safely supervise the movement of pupils at lunchtime to and from the dining areasSet up tables and chairs and the setting, clearing and wiping of tablesMaintain good order in the dining areas and assist pupils with their meals We are looking for someone who:Enjoys interacting with childrenShows empathy with childrenHas an ability to communicate across a wide range of adults and pupilsCan follow verbal or written instructionsCan work cooperatively as part of a teamHas an understanding of basic hygiene procedures A first aid qualification would be welcome or the willingness to attend first aid training.What we can offer:You will be a part of our friendly and supportive school, which is committed to providing the very best learning experiences for every child we educate. £12.65 per hour. Actual salary based on 7.5 hours per week £4,232.Normal working hours are 7.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 11.45am - 1.15pm. Term time only and excluding inset days. Start date: January 2026 or as soon as possible after this date (subject to notice period).
