We are working with a dynamic and growing organisation seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, reporting directly to the Finance Manager and partnering closely with colleagues across multiple locations. This role offers variety and exposure across the business, making it ideal for someone looking to progress their career in a fast-paced environment.

Your new role:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information. Responsibilities include:

  • Producing and reviewing entity management accounts, including branch P&Ls and analysis
  • Posting transactions, prepayments, accruals, and intercompany journals
  • Reconciling intercompany accounts
  • Assisting with external audits and responding to queries
  • Ensuring effective financial controls across operational activities
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc queries

What you'll need to succeed:

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified or finalist
  • Strong experience producing management accounts and variance analysis
  • Knowledge of UK accounting standards
  • Ability to coach junior team members
  • Experience working with auditors on statutory audits
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills
