Business Studies Teacher – Chester
Contract: Part-time, fixed-term 0.6 contract (Tues, Wed & Thurs)
Start date: 24th February 2026 – 31st August 2026 (covering maternity leave)
Salary: MPS/UPS
An established school in the Chester area is seeking a Part-time Business Studies Teacher to teach GCSE & A-Level classes.
To be considered, you MUST have:
• Recent experience working as a Business Studies Teacher
• A relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching GCSE & A-Level classes
Job Requirements:
• Ability to teach the full range of courses in the Business Studies curriculum
• Experience planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons
• Knowledge of current curriculum developments in Business Studies
• Strong communication skills with staff, students, and parents
• Ability to manage the learning and progress of individuals, groups, and classes
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
