Summary

Neway International are seeking three Reablement Assistants (Social Care Non-Qualified) to join our client based with Liverpool City Council.

Location: Upper Baker Street, Liverpool, L6 1NE
Hours: 35 per week (Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm)
Start Date: 22 December 2025
Duration: ongoing

The Role
As a Reablement Assistant, you will provide direct support to service users in line with their care plans, meeting physical, social, and emotional needs. You will work alongside allied health and social care professionals to deliver person-centred support, promote independence, and safeguard wellbeing. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to good care practice.

Key Responsibilities
Support service users with tasks as outlined in care and support plans.

Promote independence and enhance daily living skills using appropriate equipment.

Work in partnership with professionals to minimise risk and enable individuals to remain at home.

Implement person-centred support plans and participate in assessments and reviews.

Safeguard dignity, independence, and respect for cultural, spiritual, and religious needs.

Maintain accurate records and report significant changes to the Line Manager.

Attend supervision sessions and contribute to team working.

Support service users in activities and recreational pursuits.

Adapt to changing service needs and contribute flexibly to team priorities.

Ensure compliance with council policies, health and safety legislation, and equal opportunities practices.

Candidate Requirements
Eligible to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).

Must be Manual Handling (M&H) trained.

Experience in social care or supporting vulnerable individuals is desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Commitment to promoting empowerment, dignity, and independence.
